It is the unsteadiness which gets multiplied with the binocular's magnification. Again, you know your special circumstances. Just back in from birding today. I was able to see two different Red-headed woodpeckers today and a Northern Flicker. I cannot describe how beautiful they are when seeing them through great binoculars. They are so pretty anyway, but magnified.... truly beautiful.
